Adirondack Harvest Festival

The 10th Annual Adirondack Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 12 to 5 PM at the Essex County Fairgrounds in Westport, NY. The theme of the hands-on workshops and demonstrations will be “Bees & Honey” with experts leading workshops on making mead, cooking with honey, making DIY skincare and dipped beeswax candles; demonstrations on beekeeping and weaving with wool; and a beginner’s lecture on beekeeping. The event will also feature a large farmers’ market, local food trucks, “Local Libations” tent, live music, kids’ activities, horse wagon and pony rides, contests, a petting zoo, and much more. Free admission and parking, with many free and low-cost activities. This festival is an event of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Essex County’s flagship Adirondack Harvest Program.
