LivingADK would like to thank The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties for their investment in the Towns of Inlet and Webb.

The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties is a community-based social impact investor whose mission is to engage, invest, and lead - working toward a vision of community vibrancy with opportunity for all. Their team of experienced staff and dedicated trustees are committed to boldly lead and support transformational community investments. They channel donor dollars through nonprofit partners meeting current community needs and steward community resources responsibly to ensure greater capacity for the future.

Their most recent grant round was the “Herkimer County” grant round that opened in December, 2023.  LivingADK is proud to have assisted in the planning and writing of the following grants for such deserving organizations.  Grants were awarded to The Kinderwood Program of Early Education, Ltd, Recreation Connections of Old Forge, Inlet Volunteer Emergency Services, Old Forge Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Old Forge Fire Department, STaR Volunteer Ambulance, Kommunity Youth Activity Center (KYAC), and LivingADK (to continue and expand the Center for Businesses in Transition program in our area).

The grants mentioned total an astounding $115,000.00.  We can’t thank The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties enough for their continued investment and partnership with LivingADK, our community, and all of the organizations they have helped over the years.  We are eternally grateful for their support and look forward to building stronger communities together. The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties has invested more than $100 million within their service region and thankfully they are not stopping there.  For more information please visit their website at https://foundationhoc.org.
