Overview

There are many great trails and pathways in the Adirondacks that are specifically for biking.

The ever-growing presence in Western Central Adirondacks of mountain biking serves to see the beauty of the landscape while being on adventure.

The Moose River basin now houses narrow and rocky single track runs as well as technical, machine-built flow trails and pump tracks at McCauley mountain. Flatland loops such as the Uncas Tour, Black Bear, and Seventh Lake Trails provide a day ride attractive for the whole family.  Multi-day bike trails such as the Adirondack Rail Trail and Adirondack Trail Ride attract riders from all over the world.

Events such as the Black fly challenge mountain bike race from Indian Lakes to Inlet, and the Adirondack Mountain Bike Festival have been Adirondack staples for many years.

Road bikers also have plenty of area to cover along long road stretches such as along Route 28, as well as paved trails specifically designed for bike use such as the 14 mile TOBIE trail spanning from Thendara to Inlet.

Come ride in the ADK!
